electrical engineeringWe have designed a city surveillance system for MADIBENG MUNICIPALITY that analyses real-time crime data. The system will be used to monitor public areas and activities. The system shall signal alarm alerting authorities on potential crime in the Brits City and surrounding areas (i.e Lethlabile, Oukasie and Hartbeespoort dam area).
PTZ pan, tilt and zoom cameras were chosen for this project and are capable of being directional (positioned) and zoomed in in order to focus on finer details of the object in view through either optical (preferred) or digital zoom functionalities of the camera through the lens. The cameras shall be able focus on a detail without losing sight of the general view of the area of interest.

Our Engineers were requested by the Department of public works to conduct a survey, and compile an Engineer’s reports on the status of existing electrical installations at the Pretoria National Library building. Part of the scope of works involves:
• Developing a state of the art maintenance management model and implementation for a period of 5 years.
• Project management for carrying out the needed repairs and maintenance to the building.
• Developing and implementing an Occupation Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Ensuring operational, cost efficiency and effectiveness in the maintenance function
